Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sintera, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Medical Disclaimer (Important)
Sintera is not a medical device. The insights, feedback, and chat responses provided by our AI are for self-reflection and entertainment purposes only.
Not Medical Advice: The Service does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment.
Emergencies: If you are in crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or experiencing a medical emergency, please discontinue use and contact a medical professional or emergency services immediately.
3. User Content & Ownership
Your Rights: You retain full ownership of the text, data, and journal entries you input into Sintera.
Limited License: You grant Sintera only the limited license needed to encrypt, store, display, and process content for the features you request. This includes sending selected content to authorized external AI providers. We do not claim ownership of your writing.
No Training or Advertising: Your content may not be sold, used for advertising, used to train a model, or used to improve a public model.
4. Artificial Intelligence Authorization
Native iOS account creation: Sintera shows the AI-processing disclosure beside the account-creation controls. Selecting Create account, Continue with Apple, or Continue with Google authorizes the processing described in that disclosure and the Privacy Policy.
Other accounts: Existing users and accounts created outside native iOS are recognized as authorized.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw authorization from Profile at any time. You may continue to write, edit, and save drafts, but dictation, deepening, finalization, analysis, insights, and other AI-dependent features will not process content until you reactivate authorization.
Separate choices: Withdrawing AI authorization does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Management: Subscriptions are managed directly by the platform you purchased them on (Web/Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store).
Cancellations: You must cancel your subscription through the same platform used for purchase. Deleting the app or your account within the app does not automatically cancel your subscription if it is managed by Apple or Google.
6. AI Outputs and Limitation of Liability
AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing them and deciding whether to rely on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whole Life, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website and application.
